The Deep roasting tray is very well made fits into oven perfect great roasting veg and meat we also purchased the stainless steel lid that helped keep a nice steady cook .
we would highly recommend the product .

… mark II. It is testament to a marvellous retreat in 2024 that we returned for a repeat performance in 2025 and goodness, it did not disappoint. Set in beautiful surroundings and amongst the most generous hospitality, we were equipped with so many top tips to apply to our tried and tested Charlie at home. These ranged from the fundamental basics of efficiently firing up the oven, the diverse uses that Charlie is admirably capable of executing and a truly ecletic collection of recipes to draw upon.
This Masterclass was a fantastic event. Brilliant tuition an amazing menu with fabulous hospitality in beautiful surroundings.
It seems the versatility of the Charlie oven is endless. -I’m so inspired and I’m addicted to the amazing flavours that cooking over fire creates.

I thought about buying the Argentine Parrilla grill for a while before taking the plunge, but I should have done it sooner. I have only had mine for a couple of weeks and I have used it for steaks, pork chops, lamb chops, pork steaks, fish and lobster tails. Everything cooked beautifully. I would recommend that anyone buying a Charlie considers having the Parrilla V rack as part of their purchase.
As always from items supplied by Tara and Neil and Charlie Oven these items are superb, the quality and weight of the rack and the two skewer sets is amazing! We've used them almost every day since receipt and have had wonderful results each time. Whilst not the cheapest they are most certainly the best and real value for money because they will last forever!
Fantastic quality
I’ve had my oven for 12 months. It took a few weeks to get use to. However, now, whether using it as a BBQ, smoker or pizza oven, Charlie performs exceptionally.
The best decision ever was to buy our Charlie oven which we’ve had for 10 months. During this time we have leant that you can use it as you would your household oven and cook all kinds of food. But what is even better is that you can bbq too. It is so easy to light and to control the temperature. It is self cleaning other than a quick wipe on the outside with a soft cloth. Two friends have gone to order one as they loved seeing what we were cooking and were fed up with expensive bbq’s not lasting. Choosing the colour from the fabulous shades available was the hardest part of the purchase!!!
We have now had our Oregano Charlie oven for just over a year and still love it,
it has been used all year round, Spatchcock chicken with roast potatoes and carrots has been a great success along with poached plums for dessert.
We are still learning about all different foods to cook..low n slow is good.
Highly recommend Charlie oven if you enjoy cooking outdoors.
I am lucky enough to have a Charlie Oven...this is a well thought out, researched and built oven coal oven that beats the competition hands down. Tara and Neil are the nicest people you could wish to meet and the personal service is first class.

I really did my research before taking the plunge. All the videos were useful and FireCookingChris posts masses of recipes for inspiration. It seemed hugely important that the Charlie is made in UK and justifies the investment. Tara was so responsive to all my questions and it gave the purchase the personal touch. The delivery went smoothly and getting the oven into position was really helped by the friendly guy who came in the van who went above and beyond.
Finally the cooking itself is a dream. Easy to light. Quick to temp and holds it exactly as specified. I’ve cooked a casserole, roasted a chicken with the BEST roast potatoes ever, and our pizzas came out better than any restaurant.
I really can’t praise the Charlie enough. I genuinely love it and cooking outdoors is all I want to do from now on!! Thanks Team Charlie.

Tara and team couldn’t have done more for us, from the initial enquiry to the delivery time to the delivery team, can’t praise them highly enough. The Charlie itself is fabulous! Easy to use, versatile and wonderful results.
Charlie Oven has added to their outdoor kit for those who like to cook outdoors. The Charlie Outdoor Island Cabinet is a fantastic work bench to prep food on, the two large draws underneath are perfect storage for your bags of quality charcoal or cooking pans etc. Like the Charlie Oven its on wheels so you can move it around when the wind is in the wrong direction. I ordered mine in mid-January 2025 and it was delivered to my door on 13th Feb - great logistical service and well set up. Oh and they come in all the different colours!

Not only is Charlie an amazing piece of kit but so are the team behind it. I love that it’s British built by a small team. The build quality is amazing as is their customer service. We’ve not had Charlie long but our first few experiments have been great. The thing that is really surprising us at the moment is how he holds his temperature, it’s been a game changer for our low and slow cook ups. Really looking forward to experimenting more. Thank you
