Does my Charlie need a cover?
No. We designed Charlie to be left uncovered, looking beautiful in the garden all year round. A cover is useful if your oven sits under trees, to protect it from dirt, falling leaves and sap.
What does it look like?
We wanted the cover to be beautiful too. We call it Charlie's ski jacket, because the fabric feels very like a good ski jacket and it is made to the same high standard. It comes in a premium grey with the Charlie logo on the front.
How do I stop condensation under the cover?
Even a cover needs airing now and then. Take it off every so often, and make sure the oven's air vents and the cover's side air pockets are open so air can circulate.
When can I put the cover on?
Only once the oven has cooled completely. Charlie is heavily insulated, so this can take several hours after a cook.
