What is a charcoal oven?

A closed, insulated oven fired by lumpwood charcoal. You set the heat with the vents, from 80 to 400°C (175 to 750°F), and it grills, roasts, bakes and smokes on several levels at once.

Look inside

Calm on the outside. Fired up inside.

Behind the door sits a charcoal fire and several levels of cooking space. The insulated walls keep the heat in and the outside cool.

Life with a Charlie

The best seat at your own party

Light it, set the vents and Charlie holds the heat for hours. Dinner cooks on several levels while you sit down with everyone else.

  • Pizza night, then steak night

Pizzas for the kids first, then steaks for the grown ups, all from the same oven.

  • Sunday lunch in the rain

The closed oven isn't bothered by the weather, so you needn't be either.

  • Everything ready together

Mains and sides cook on different levels, so everyone eats at once.

  • A slow cook that looks after itself

A full grate holds 100 to 130°C (210 to 265°F) for up to 16 hours.

“It's the best thing we have ever bought and such a conversation piece.”
