My wife and I bought this as a joint retirement present to ourselves when we retired in June 26…. Delivery was super easy and as agreed with the team. We have used it soooo much since it arrived - still learning but it’s easy to use and the food is great! The Kebab Rack is awesome and we’ve never had better BBQ’d kebabs…

After coveting a Charlie oven for over a year, we finally made the decision on the colour (all so gorgeous) and took delivery in July 2024. It's the best thing we have ever bought and such a conversation piece. We use it far more than we ever used a bbq or similar and since we moved house and are renovating, it is now our only oven. We have certainly put it through it paces over the past 5 months and it's been a life saver especially when entertaining. Great personal customer service from Tara, Neil and the team.
This oven blows me away every time I use it. Having multiple levels to cook food is a game changer. Got a large crowd over? You can spin burgers and sauages out in no time whilst easily keeping meat and vegetarian food separate. A leg of lamb on a meat hook is to die for, defintiely the best I have ever cooked. Now, if they can figure how to get a rotating wing basket in there...
Honestly love my green Charlie Oven so much. We use it all the time now — pizzas, steaks, chicken, ribs, veg, even bread — everything just tastes better cooked in it.
It heats up really quickly, holds the temperature so well, and is actually really fun to cook in. Friends always end up gathered round it whenever we’ve got people over.
Tara and her husband have also been brilliant anytime we’ve needed advice — really helpful and great customer service, which makes such a difference.
Also looks amazing in the garden. One of those things you buy and then wonder how you managed without it.
We bought the charlie carcoal oven and the charlie outdoor island cabinet, great product easy to use well made, cooks your food perfect with that charcoal flavour added, we would recommend these products to anyone who loves food and cooking, lots of fun charlie is part of or family.
I ordered my Charlie after several chats with Tara who was so helpful at every stage. I needed delivery to the south of France and eventually delivery took place but was delayed by French customs and the delivery agent. Was it worth the wait....I think so. I have only really got to start using it as we needed a patio laid at our house to give us a level area.
Charlie certainly gets attention and people are fascinated by its design and attractive looks.
Good charcoal is key and here I use Big K which can be used a couple of times and retains and produces good heat.
I am only really setting out on the journey of usage but in the past few days greek spatchcock chicken with lemon and oregano potatoes, pizzas in minutes with easily achievable 400 degrees, veg chilli, beautiful Black Sea Bream like you would have at a top notch restaurant. I wish I lived in the UK because I would definitely go on a cooking day/weekend.
Yes they cost quite a bit but it truly is a great product so well designed and a real feature.
In future I would like to see an Charlie Oven cookbooks of recipes in publication. I know the recipes are online but that would be great.
The Deep roasting tray is very well made fits into oven perfect great roasting veg and meat we also purchased the stainless steel lid that helped keep a nice steady cook .

I purchased a Cheeky Charlie (the table top variant) together with a number of accessories. Communication with Neil and Tara has been excellent throughout, the oven is fantastic, I really cannot recommend it highly enough. For comparison I also have a Kamado Joe Big Joe, a Whistler gas grill and had a Gozney Dome. The Charlie is the best built and can easily do the jobs of all the other bbq I own! The family are all big fans of the pizzas we made recently!
Charlie Oven products are of great quality and built to last. Online ordering is easy and what ever you order is well packed and delivered in a timely manner.

… mark II. It is testament to a marvellous retreat in 2024 that we returned for a repeat performance in 2025 and goodness, it did not disappoint. Set in beautiful surroundings and amongst the most generous hospitality, we were equipped with so many top tips to apply to our tried and tested Charlie at home. These ranged from the fundamental basics of efficiently firing up the oven, the diverse uses that Charlie is admirably capable of executing and a truly ecletic collection of recipes to draw upon.
I love cooking with our Charlie oven It bakes, roasts, sears, smokes. The flavours are enhanced and some of the best results are from the simplest ingredients - baked potatoes are out of this world, but it’s with meat dishes that it comes into its own- especially slow cooked lamb and beef - I’m constantly inspired to try different recipes “al la Charlie”!
This Masterclass was a fantastic event. Brilliant tuition an amazing menu with fabulous hospitality in beautiful surroundings.
It seems the versatility of the Charlie oven is endless. -I’m so inspired and I’m addicted to the amazing flavours that cooking over fire creates.

I have had my charlie oven now for about a month.
From the moment i ordered the service has been outstanding.
My beautiful oven was delivered on time and Tara kept in touch all the way and had been really lovely to deal with very professional and i could not be happier.
I ordered my Charlie oven in time for a big feast i do annually at the house for all the boys and the results were great.
Fantastic Iberico pork with a roasted pepper salsa, excellent spatchcock juicy poussin with a bravas sauce. juicy lamb chops and also slow cooked shoulder of lamb and lots more dishes cooked in the oven.
It's so easy to use you are ready to go in 20 minutes and nothing tastes better than a charcoal grill, i advise you to buy a quality charcoal as that gives the right burn and also flavor to your food, i purchased charcoal from charlie and it is excellent.
Funds allowing i will buy the island to match next year as that looks the part.

I thought about buying the Argentine Parrilla grill for a while before taking the plunge, but I should have done it sooner. I have only had mine for a couple of weeks and I have used it for steaks, pork chops, lamb chops, pork steaks, fish and lobster tails. Everything cooked beautifully. I would recommend that anyone buying a Charlie considers having the Parrilla V rack as part of their purchase.
As always from items supplied by Tara and Neil and Charlie Oven these items are superb, the quality and weight of the rack and the two skewer sets is amazing! We've used them almost every day since receipt and have had wonderful results each time. Whilst not the cheapest they are most certainly the best and real value for money because they will last forever!
The Charlie is everything that was promised and more! Looks fantastic & easy to use.
