With a background honed in prestigious London kitchens and a standout performance on The Brigade TV show, James brings an unrivalled passion for fire-cooked flavour. Now running Number 13 and The Four Pears, he is ready to guide you through the art of spring-inspired live-fire cooking.

    What to Expect

    • Master the art of cooking with fire, learning techniques that can be easily adapted for home cooking
    • Cook with the best of the season, including lamb, seafood, and wild garlic
    • Enjoy a hands-on experience, working alongside James to prepare a stunning seasonal feast

    Fantastic weekend at Tresillion House in Newquay Cornwall. Very well organised hands on event with guest chef Andrew Clark showing us new cooking techniques and food combinations with some amazing top quality ingredients. Thank you Charlie Ovens for organising this event, I would go back tomorrow and highly recommend this to anyone else looking to improve there outdoor cooking skills.
