Pizza and Baking Stone

Professional grade 1.5cm thick cordierite oven stone.  We prefer a round shape stone to use in the Charlie Oven to allow maximum airflow around the oven and ensure an even bake.
Cordierite is a high-performance, high temperature material. Enjoy delicious home-made pizzas cooked to perfection. This pizza stone distributes heat evenly and provides superior heat retention and transfer.
Bake bread using the pizza stone too. 
Unlike pizza ovens, the Charlie Oven bakes pizzas with the door shut.  The optimum temperature is 350-375 degrees for baking pizza in the Charlie.  Any hotter and the pizza will burn on the bottom.  Allow circa 3 minutes to bake a pizza or more than more one at a time.  
Rinse to clean. Never clean the stone with chemicals or detergent, and allow the stone to dry completely before using. Store the stone in the Charlie oven when not in use.
